| Cam Weatherston and Brian Smart began making Weatherston Tables out of their appreciation and respect for beautiful, old Douglas-fir wood. The impressiveness of the first tables they made for their own homes inspired their initiative to begin producing this exclusive line of tables for others who shared their passion for such fine wood. | | Cam Weatherston |
Cam Weatherston lives in a classic timber-frame house that he and his family built of Douglas-fir and yellow-cedar. Their furnishings are beautifully restored antiques, personally designed and crafted pieces and, of course, a huge Weatherston table for family and friends to gather around. Cam’s timber framing design and workmanship skills are evident in the final product; solid, tight-fitting joints, (bomb-proof as he puts it) true surfaces, and proportionality. | | | Brian Smart |
